Our client wanted to expand the kitchen in his Victorian period home. To maximise the ground floor potential, he opted to have a wrap-around extension built. We started the project by preparing the patio. After that, we inserted steel support to protect the house and started demolishing the rear wall. The brick wall we then constructed helped the extension match with the original building, while the bespoke columns add even more character to the London home. We all love the idea of reconnecting with nature and using the best it has to offer. Keeping this in mind, the client opted for sliding glass doors with aluminium frames, which connect the internal space with the outside environment providing a view of the garden. The glass roof lantern has allowed even more natural light into the house.
We fitted the custom-made kitchen with bright cream units that match the existing interiors perfectly. The small but cosy kitchen island illuminated by a set of beautiful hanging pendant lights makes food preparation a whole lot more fun. Finally, we fitted the house with a state of the art smart electronic system that makes the house not only splendidly looking but practical and contemporary too. The smart home system operates the light switches, TV, the security system, the doors and windows.
